Exceeding Expectations
Despite the fact that many people were dooming UMD Movies before the PSP was released, they are selling really well. Sony also has plans of releasing UMD Music in the US soon as well. Prices are reasonable, about the same as a DVD some are cheaper. Just my two cents. GJE (05/02/2005)
- Boggles my mind. As my day with Quicktime 7 has proven, I'm thoroughly impressed with the H.264 codec, and am sure that the movies look absolutely fantastic running from a UMD. The problem is, I can get the same movie, cheaper, as a DVD, and I then have no constraints on where or when I want to watch it. Not to mention the severe lack of bonus content on UMDs.
