So Then

... What should my next step be in getting the Home brew stuff installed?

I have a system update at 3.95, No pandora battery, no access to homebrew psp, and basically no idea where to start. I've search the forums continuously but there are so many different unanswered steps that I don't want to attempt anything until I know what I'm getting into.

You need a pandora, that is the simplest, most relevant answer.

There are a few tutorials in the tutorials section.
