Yes, and no. You use the popsloader plugin for 3.90, and put files in a folder that make popsloader more compatible. To use 3.71 pops, you would put prx files decrypted from a Sony 3.71 EBOOT. The read-me says what files are needed.

I can't seem to find the gamecode for any of my games as I never get a list of game codes generated on it, and updating the list just makes it freak out.

Hm during the process it is suppose to show you all of the codes. Well just google 'X' game for the code.
Do you own the game? the code should be on the box.
If you already have the ISO, just use a program called 'icetea' it is a lot easier to use that AutoPopstation to convert the ISO to EBOOT.
