Thanks!

Well after holding the r trigger when you start up your psp, it will bring you to a recovery mode...inside the recovery mode click on configurations then scroll down to "Game folder homebrew" and change the kernel to 1.50

I turned the psp on while holding the r trigger, and after that I looked for an option on my psp that said "configurations" but I can't find anything :S Maybe I'm not in the recovery mode yet :S. Do I have to turn the psp off to a HARD rest then turn it on while holding the r trigger? because I tried both methods. I'm soo confused :S

Are you doing this on your psp, or your friends psp?

Only custom firmware has a recovery mode, so if your trying to do this on your friends psp it wont work. Anyways you need your psp completely off before you will be able to enter recovery mode. To turn it completely off press and hold the power switch up for about 4 or 5 seconds. Then follow what i've outlined above. You'll know its the recovery mode because it will boot into a service looking type of screen.

I've added the FAQ to the tutorial. It's fairly good, but if more questions arise, PM me and let me know the solutions (if you have them) and I will make sure to include them in the FAQ ASAP.

why does the other psp need to be homebrew?

You just need a psp thats capable of running homebrew because the program that changes your battery into a pandora battery is a homebrew application.

so pretty mush if you cant access a homebrew enabled PSP for a few minutes or so you are still lost in official. but dont worry you are not alone, nor am i

They should really make a windows executable that runs through the PSP via USB so that a second homebrewable PSP isn't needed. I thought they'd have something like that out by now.

ok u dont relally need a second psp as long as you have a hombrew enabled psp (running custom firmware) your fine to make pandoras battery basically the homebrew psp allows you to run all the programs that configures the battery and the memory card to make it the "jigkick" battery and the "magic memory stick" thats wat would make the battery now if u had a slim but not a "fatpsp" then thats where u would need a second psp or if your psp was bricked or if you have 3.52/3,71 you would need to borrow or have a second psp with custom firmware on it
