Homebrew elitist help me

Edit:Oh no I posted in the Tutorials section I'm so sorry *gulp*

I was wondering if my PSP can still be salvaged...
It doesn't turn on...the screen doesn't turn on and no volume is produced. Charges fine but I can't even turn on the PSP with or without the battery. I did drop it a couple times but it was concealed in a backpack I researched and some people have told me my LCD could have been broken because of the drops but even if my screen was broken some sound should come on right? The Firmware I was running was 2.71 Devhook. I don't think my PSP is bricked because I haven't updated anything or maybe it was I'm looking for some help and if it cannot be saved what should I do with it?

Do the LED's turn on? Like, the lights whenever you charger your battery?
Maybe it's a battery problem. Try putting no battery in and using the AC adapter to turn it on or some one else's battery.

The LEDs do work unfortunately I don't know anyone that has a PSP and I already tried to turn it on with the AC adapter without a battery and no luck. Is there a way to buy PSP batteries?

Yeah. But, if it dosen't turn on with the charger, without the battery in. Your battery isn't the problem...
