replacing faceplate tutorial

-What youll need-
A Psp
a new faceplate
a current faceplate
a #000 screwdriver (flat and Phillips recommended )
not that many people will use this but o well.
-Step 1-
first u gotta flip over ur psp and take out the battery.
on the bottom of the battery housing there MIGHT be a warranty label.
mine doesnt have one but take a look.
if you have one use a flat head screwdriver and pry the sticker off.
-NOTICE- taking off the warranty sticker will void your warranty
-step 2-
now get your screwdriver ready and get ready to unscrew some screws. Here is a picture telling you were the screws are located.
-Notice-
the 2 silver screws in the battery housing do not NEED to be unscrewed but some people can never be too safe i guess.
-step 3-
Once all the screws are out you can flip over your psp and remove the faceplate gently.
-step 4-
now you must remove the buttons from your faceplate..
for the arrow buttons just simply remove the rubber peice gently then take out the arrow pad.
do just the same for the square, circle, x, and triangle buttons but remember how everything fitted in.
-step 5-
the home row is a little more difficult (not much)
the middle part of the homerow is glued down with a glue solution (not really glue like a type of tape)
just pull it off real easy and then its off.
-step 6-
now for the analog stick.... first take off the nub then
just unscrew the screws on the analog as circled below.
after unscrewing the screws youll notice there is a small washer just keep it for know.
-step 7-
next you take all of your buttons (not analog) and put them in the corresponding places on the new faceplate (with the homerow put the sticky part in the middle like where it was on the other faceplate)
-step

take the washer from the analog and place it back on the analog then put the analog in the faceplate and screw it in.
once in replace the analog nub back on.

-step 9-
replace the faceplate back on the psp
(before doing so u might want to clean the faceplate and the lcd, be sure to use a silky cloth.. paper towels and such can scratch the lcd and do not use anything wet on the lcd.)once the faceplate is on push all around the outside on it so parts will click in to place.
-step 10-
screw all the screws back on and your set (i screw the screws on pretty tight to make sure all the connectors touch right)
