Hey everybody. To put google videos on your psp is really simple. This can be done on any firmware. This is not a hack for the psp. This is, however, a multimedia enhancement that allows owners of psps that aren't capable of playing homebrew to enjoy their psp a little more. Just follow the steps below to learn how!

step#1: first u will need to download a program called PSP Video 9. You can download that program
here

step#2: After you download, install it, you can log onto google-video at
video google

step#3: When you have the video u want, look to the right. You should see a little gray button that says 'download for' , look directly to the right of those words. you'll see it say 'windows/mac'.
hit the little arrow then hit 'video ipod/ sony psp' once u hit it, hit 'download'. now it should be downloading.

step#4: Once it's done downloading, open up pspvideo9. At the top left corner hit 'convert'. now hit 'one-click transcode' and a screen will pop up. open up the file where your video is. You probably won't see it. at the bottom of the screen, were it says
'media files'. hit the little arrow to make it say 'all files'.

step#5 Your video should be visible now. Click it once then hit the 'open' button.
that screen will go away and pspvideo9 should still be there

This is what the screen should look like at this point.

step#6 When the transcoding is 100% done, hit copy, which should be in the top left corner.

This is what the screen should look like now.

step#7 Make sure your psp is plugged into the computer (or that the memory card is plugged into the card reader if you use that instead). Then, click the video you want on your psp. at the mid-bottom hit a button that says 'copy to psp'. If you followed the steps correctly it should work.

step#8 Enjoy the movies on your psp! 8)

-If you're having any trouble, download my mp_root pack. it has a few vids-clips that I think are pretty funny. Download it from the link below and place the mp_root folder in the root of your memory stick. Good luck!

You know what Arto, you found a good way to contribute! I am going to give this a better look-over and then consider it for a sticky ;)

Lots of good information has come in since I have been the mod here. I appreciate everyone's hard work!

*edit* I made a TON of grammatical fixes to this, so it should be a little better now. There are still some errors but this is a forum, not a grammar school. I just cleaned it up a bit for you. I have also made this a sticky; however, if you do not update this tutorial to be more precise/ detailed, I will temporarily take the sticky off of it until the quality is improved. There are some steps that tend to leave little bits out (like step 4). I have decided to let you clear this up.

Perhaps this shows that pspvideo9 still has some life to it lol. People down it... but I liked it when I used it. Now, the only thing I use is the Max Media Manager from Datel that I "found" online. It works 98% of the time, and when it doesn't, I fall back on ol pspvideo9/ 3gp.

*edit* Thanks for clearing it up ;)
